Sending Christmas Cards

It is well known that British people (as well as many people around the world) send Xmas greetings at this time of the year. I want to share with you some curious information related to this:

Did you know that… The custom of sending Christmas cards was started in Bath (UK) in 1843 by Sir Henry Cole? You can find more information in The History of Christmas Cards.
