Sleep on it

This expression is used when you don’t want to make an immediate decision about something, that is to say, when you prefer waiting until the next day in order to have more time to think about it. In Spanish we say “Consultarlo con la almohada”.
Example: I don’t know what to say. Let me sleep on it, and I’ll tell you tomorrow.
